Here is another posting that should have happened this summer but never did. Over the 4th of July weekend we decided we needed to have some fun. Lots of people were in town for the festivities so the Prauner's had a BBQ. The pictures tell the story.
Travis, Phyllis, and Matt all having a serious conversation.

Who knew a large Rubbermaid container would be so much fun??
Just how much water do you think a 1 year old's diaper can soak up??
This would be great for an experiment...but only Elizabeth would find it interesting.

Boston had tons of fun playing in the water too...

Everyone outside watching the kids play with the dog and water while enjoying a gorgeous day!

When all was said and done Travis was pooped...
...so much like the little kids who left early, he took a nap.The day went on until late in the evening. We didn't watch the fireworks but had fun talking about what was going on with all of our lives. Ahh! But the weekend doesn't end there...
Greg was in a wedding on the 5th of July...
...baby Prauner got to Pretzel for the first time!!!It was definitely INTERESTING...
to try and dance with a pregnant belly and heels.
After the baby shower that my mom threw for me on the 6th of July...

...It was so much fun to have so many people there who love Greg and I and baby Prauner.
The baby got so many cute clothes and mommy and daddy got many practical things to use for baby.
Grandma Peg came up with a word jumble for the shower to which Elizabeth said, "Man, I finally got the wedding one down, now I have to start working on the baby one!"
We had so much fun. Great Grandma "Nett" flew in all the way from Nebraska for the shower. It was supposed to be a surprise but when Elizabeth called home that morning Great Grandma gave it up by talking in the background. (I thought it was kinda funny.) G-Grandma made an amazing quilt for baby Prauner's crib. It is absolutely gorgeous. By far the most exciting gift for Elizabeth was the baby food grinder that her mom used when Elizabeth was a baby. They don't even make them anymore! SO EXCITING!!!
What a busy and fun Fourth of July weekend!
