Well it is official! He is an alumni of Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. After four long years of Hebrew, Greek, exegeticals and practicals he is finally done. We are so excited that we can start the next chapter in our life together. Greg graduated on Friday, May 16th with his Masters of Divinity and his Certification to become a pastor. I can't believe it is over. Now we get to move to New Jersey and become part of a wonderful congregation! Greg is so excited to be done with school. While he has no immediate plans of going back, I know my husband and he won't be able to not be studying or learning something. So eventually I think he will want to get his STM (a master's that everyone acknowledges) and then his doctorate. Who knows when all of this will happen. I'm pretty sure he will be busy being a pastor, husband, and daddy for a while. God has truly blessed Greg with an amazing passion for the work at hand. Greg can now focus on our new congregation in Ridgewood, NJ. He is going to work with the youth, outreach and assimilation into the congregation. We know the congregation is already planning a trip next summer to Alaska to do VBS with some of the people there. We also have some friends who are going to Africa for their vicarage. What an amazing place to do more work. The location and passion of the congregation we are going to is wonderful and we can't wait to start working with them. :)
